A health site that will not tell you how it is funded has not earned your trust. Here is exactly how Hormone Hero is paid for, who owns it, and what that does and does not influence.
How we are funded
Display advertising
Our intended revenue source is display advertising: standard banner and in-article ad units served by a third-party ad network. Ads are labeled “Advertisement” wherever they appear.
We do not control which specific advertisers appear. Ad networks select ads automatically based on their own targeting. An ad appearing on this site is not an endorsement. You may see ads for clinics, telehealth companies, supplements, or products that our own articles are skeptical about. We have no editorial relationship with those advertisers and receive nothing beyond the standard per-impression payment the network pays every publisher.
We keep ad density deliberately low, at most one in-article unit, because a page cluttered with ads is a worse reference. Policy and disclosure pages, including this one, carry no advertising at all.
What we do not do
- No sponsored content. We do not publish articles paid for by a company, in any format, labeled or otherwise.
- No paid links. We do not sell links, and we do not participate in link exchanges.
- No affiliate commissions. We currently earn no commission on any product, test, or service. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on this page and on every page where such a link appears, before you click it.
- No referral fees. We are not paid to send readers to any clinic, telehealth provider, lab, or pharmacy.

Who owns Hormone Hero
Hormone Hero is owned and operated by Holland Ventures LLC.
We disclose this because the owner has other business interests in the hormone health sector. That is a real potential conflict, and you deserve to know about it rather than discover it later.
Here is how we handle it. Hormone Hero does not link to, recommend, promote, or accept advertising from any business affiliated with its owner. Those businesses have no input into what we cover or what we conclude. No affiliated clinic, product, or service appears in our editorial content, our directories, or our recommendations, because we do not run directories or make recommendations at all.
If we ever cover a topic where an affiliated business has a direct commercial stake in the conclusion, we will disclose that relationship in the article itself, not just on this page.
Why this matters for what you read
Much of the hormone health information online is published by companies that sell hormone treatment. That does not automatically make it wrong, but it does mean the incentive runs toward “yes, you probably need this.”
We have no treatment to sell you. Our incentive is to be the page you come back to, which means being right, being current, and telling you when the evidence does not support a popular claim. That is why articles on this site regularly conclude that something is unproven, and why we publish an evidence grade that is frequently “Limited” or “Insufficient.”
